The Religious Studies Program offers the opportunity for motivated students to enhance their undergraduate education by pursuing a senior thesis project.
A senior thesis is a major research project resulting in an essay ranging from approximately forty to eighty pages. It draws together what you have learned in your Religious Studies courses overall and in the courses you took that relate to your research project.
If you are interested in writing a senior thesis, you should contact the department's senior thesis advisor during the Spring quarter of your junior year to make arrangements to begin the thesis in the Fall of your senior year.
