"My time spent in the Religious Studies Department at UC Davis was invaluable for my development as an emerging scholar. It was at Davis that I was first introduced to the academic study of religion, with its many forms, approaches, assumptions, and methodologies. The faculty at Davis was engaging, and provided me with the personal attention that I needed to really progress in my own studies. It was only in the department of Religious Studies that I was challenged academically, and was encouraged to think critically about the subjects presented to me."
Nathan Bennett graduated from UC Davis with a B.A. in History and Religious Studies. He has since earned his Master of Theological Studies at Harvard Divinity School, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Claremont Graduate University.
