Apply Now to be a Religious Studies Scholar
Students who are doing research related to Religious Studies are encouraged to apply to be a Religious Studies Scholar for the 2026-27 academic year! Students will be selected based on the quality of their research plans.
Each student will be:
- awarded a $500 research stipend
- invited to present their research findings at an RST Scholars conference in June
- eligible to submit their research for the RST Student Prize
Interested applicants should submit a 1-2 page research proposal to Lindsey Parisius ([email protected]) by Monday, September 14. Applications must include a letter of support from the faculty member in the Department of Religion, Culture and Society who has agreed to supervise the research.
