Wabash Teaching Workshop on the Study of Religions of India

On Saturday, June 23rd, attendees of this year's Conference on the Study of Religions of India were treated to a workshop titled "The Medium and the Mantra: Engaging Diverse Media in Entry-Level Religion Courses," sponsored by the Wabash Center for Teaching and Learning. The workshop was facilitated by Sufia Uddin, Associate Professor of Religious Studies of Connecticut College. Dr. Suddin's research has largely been focused on the Bengali-Muslim religious community from colonial times to the present. Her publications include the 2006 book Constructing Bangladesh: Religion, Ethnicity, and Language in an Islamic Nation, published by the University of North Carolina Press.
